This project is a visual identity for emotions, designed to help individuals understand and process the disorienting feelings associated with dissociation—a natural defense mechanism triggered by trauma.
Concept
In October 2023, as an entire nation experienced a surreal and fragmented reality, this series of graphic posters emerged as a tool for navigating the aftermath. Each poster visualizes the complex symptoms of dissociation, when it feels overwhelming our mind could block it self.
The result could include symptoms such as depersonalization- derealization, amnesia, and emotional dysregulation, among others.
By transforming abstract, intangible emotions into striking visuals, these posters serve as a guide for acknowledging and expressing the challenges of mental health, particularly in the wake of trauma.
